Hi, I’m Dr. Priscilla McCowan, founder of PM Coaching and Consulting, and a coach called by God to serve those who serve others.
For decades, I thought I was simply a problem-solver, an HR professional, and a Christian educator. I wore many hats in corporate and ministry spaces, helping people grow, plan, and lead. But I didn’t realize there was one word that wrapped all of that up: coach.
God showed me years ago that my true purpose is to help others succeed in both work and ministry.
Now, I focus on equipping a group close to my heart: non-clergy ministry leaders—faithful volunteers, lay leaders, ministry directors, and those who serve behind the scenes. You’re often asked to do much, expected to lead without much training, and carry the weight of ministry with little support.
I’ve been there.
I’ve led in three churches. I’ve burned out. I’ve questioned my ability to lead. And I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that clarity, support, and spiritual alignment can make all the difference.
